Description

Supporting 12th generation Intel LGA 1700 socket processors and the Z690 chipset, which takes advantage of the large PCIe 5.0 data bandwidth, this micro-ATX motherboard is designed to take on intensive workloads such as 8K video editing, high-end games, and more. Up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM, reaching 6000 MHz when overclocked, can be installed across four memory slots to improve the system’s multitasking capabilities. At the same time, its PCIe 5.0 and 4.0 x16 slots can accommodate powerful graphics cards and devices such as Thunderbolt cards while the PCIe 3.0 x1 slot supports other compatible expansions. In addition to having three PCIe 4.0 M.2 solid-state drive slots, this motherboard has six SATA III drive headers with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations.

The rear panel features a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port that can transfer up to 20 Gb/s with compatible devices, alongside two 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, four 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and two USB 2.0 ports. A second USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port may be added through a compatible front panel with the available header. Use the built-in 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E capabilities to transfer up to 2.4 Gb/s with compatible tri-band wireless networks and enjoy incredibly fast online games, live stream broadcasts, and more. Alternatively, you can use the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port to connect to compatible wired networks and high-speed devices. Other features include SupremeFX ALC4080 audio with gold-plated connectors and Savitech SV3H712 AMP for crystal clear, detailed 7.1-channel surround sound. You can customize your computing experience using the addressable RGB lighting headers to customize various effects to match your mood, style, and game. Windows 10 or 11 64-bit is required to take advantage of all the ROG Z690-G GAMING WIFI’s features.

The ROG Z690-G GAMING WIFI motherboard pairs 12th generation Intel processors with PCIe 5.0 bandwidth, transferring up to a 128 GB/s an x16 configuration using the Z690 chipset.

Thermal Design
